Minutes
Present: Chairman James Scroggins; Members David Gizewicz, Robert Kilpatrick and James Valad; Alternates John McBrearty and Mila Smith; Recording Secretary Cathy Sirois.
Call to order and Pledge of Allegiance: Chairman Scroggins called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. All stood to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion was made by Mr. Kilpatrick, seconded by Mr. Gizewicz, to seat John McBrearty as alternate to fill the vacant seat on the commission. Voted (4-0).
Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made by Mr. Kilpatrick, seconded by Mr. Gizewicz, to approve the March 17, 2010 Regular Meeting minutes as written. Voted (4-0-1). Mr. Valad abstained as he was absent from that meeting.
Chairman’s Communications:
Chairman Scroggins reported that a letter was received for the Commission and will be discussed in Executive Session.
Executive Session – Review of Letter Addressed to the Commission:
A motion was made by Mr. Kilpatrick, seconded by Mr. Valad, to enter Executive Session at 6:37 p.m.
The Commission came out of Executive Session at 7:10 p.m.
Adjournment:
A motion was made by Mr. McBrearty, seconded by Mr. Kilpatrick, to adjourn the meeting at 7:12 p.m. Voted (5-0).
